About QR Code Generator
A QR code is just a link, a UPI ID or a piece of text encoded so a camera can read it. Printing one on a shop counter, a poster or a visiting card saves people typing, and generating it yourself means no third-party service sits between your code and the person scanning it.
Good to know
- The code is generated on your device, so whatever you encode never reaches a server.
- Avoid free redirect services for a printed code. If that service closes, every printed copy stops working.
- Print at a decent size with clear white space around the edge, or scanners struggle.
Questions
Can I make a UPI payment QR?
Yes, by encoding your UPI payment string. Test it with your own phone before printing or sharing.
Do these codes expire?
No. The code contains the data itself, so it works for as long as whatever it points to exists.
How big should I print it?
Large enough to scan comfortably from normal distance, with a clear margin around it. Bigger is safer for posters.
Can I track how many people scan it?
Not with a plain code, since nothing is recorded anywhere. That requires a tracking redirect service.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside your browser using your own device. Your file never leaves it, and we never see or store it. You can even disconnect from the internet and the tool still works.
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no daily limit, no watermark on your files. The site is paid for by ads.
