Good to know

- Neither picture is stretched. Going down the page both are scaled to a common width; side by side, to a common height.
- The background is white rather than transparent, because the result is a JPEG for upload and transparency would come out black in some readers.

Will my signature be stretched to match the photo width?
No. Both are scaled by the same rule and centred, so proportions are kept and any leftover space is white.
