About Merge PDF
Most applications want one file, while your documents arrive as several: a marksheet here, a certificate there, an ID proof from somewhere else. This joins them end to end in the order you add them, without re-compressing the pages, so every document keeps the quality it had.
Good to know
- Order matters and follows the order you add the files, so add them the way the form lists them.
- Pages are copied, not re-encoded, so nothing is degraded by merging.
- The merged file is roughly the sum of the parts. Follow with Compress PDF if there is a size limit.
Questions
Can I change the order after adding files?
Add them in the order you want. If the result is wrong, use Reorder PDF Pages on the merged file.
Do different page sizes cause problems?
No. Each page keeps its own size, so an A4 page and a Letter page can sit in the same file.
Is there a limit on how many I can join?
No fixed limit. Very large documents take longer because the work happens on your own device.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. The pages are copied across unchanged.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside your browser using your own device. Your file never leaves it, and we never see or store it. You can even disconnect from the internet and the tool still works.
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no daily limit, no watermark on your files. The site is paid for by ads.
