About Merge Images
Two pictures that need to be one: a document photographed in halves, a before and after, a set of screenshots for a single upload. This joins any number of images down the page or across it, scaling them to a common edge so nothing is stretched — which is the usual thing that goes wrong when people do it by hand.
Good to know
- Images are scaled to the largest one rather than the smallest, so nothing is enlarged past its own resolution and blurred.
- The order is the order you add the files.
- For a photograph and signature specifically, use Photo + Signature in One Image — it does the same join and then sets the exact size a form wants.
Questions
Can I merge more than two images?
Yes, any number. They are joined in the order you add them.
Will the smaller image be stretched?
No. Everything is scaled to a common width going down, or a common height going across, and centred. Leftover space is filled with the background colour.
Can I put them side by side instead?
Yes, choose the side-by-side arrangement. Images are then matched on height instead of width.
What format do I get?
A JPEG, which is what upload forms expect. Set a maximum KB if the form has a limit.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside your browser using your own device. Your file never leaves it, and we never see or store it. You can even disconnect from the internet and the tool still works.
Is it really free?
