SVG to JPG Free

Convert SVG pictures to JPG at their original size. JPG files are far smaller, which is what upload forms want. Transparency becomes white.

Free, and staying free. No account, no daily limit, no watermark, nothing uploaded. Keeping it up does cost something (the domain, and the AI that reads your notification) and a contribution goes there. Passing the site to someone filling the same form helps just as much, and costs nothing at all.

About SVG to JPG

Sometimes an SVG has to become a JPG because a form or an old program accepts nothing else. It works, but with a caveat worth knowing first: JPG has no transparency, so an SVG logo drawn on nothing will arrive on a white rectangle.

Good to know

  • Transparent backgrounds become white. If that is a problem, render to PNG instead.
  • JPG also softens the crisp edges that make vector artwork look clean.
  • Choose this only when JPG is genuinely required; PNG is the better rendering target for vectors.

Questions

Why does my logo have a white box around it?

JPG cannot store transparency, so the empty area becomes white. Use SVG to PNG to keep it transparent.

Will the edges stay sharp?

Less so than with PNG. JPG compression is designed for photographs and blurs hard edges slightly.

When should I pick this over PNG?

When something explicitly demands JPG, or the artwork is photographic and has no transparency.

What size is the output?

Whatever you render at. Larger renders are sharper but produce bigger files.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs inside your browser using your own device. Your file never leaves it, and we never see or store it. You can even disconnect from the internet and the tool still works.

Is it really free?

Yes. No account, no daily limit, no watermark on your files. The site is paid for by ads.
